Qatar Airline Baggage Policy
Cabin Baggage:
In Economy, you are permitted 1 cabin bag (7 kg, max 50×37×25 cm) and another personal item.
Business is two cabin baggage (7 kg each). In first class you are allowed two cabin bags (10 kg each). Pay attention to the weight limits; they are strictly enforced at the gates.
Checked Baggage:
Economy 30 kg; Business 40 kg; First Class 50 kg.
Americans use the piece system—generally 2 bags (23-32 kg each according to class).
Slightly more use for members of One world.
Special Items:
Allowed over and above personal allowance (baby food, medical devices, duty-free, coats).
Sporting gear, musical instruments, and medical equipment will require notifying the airline at least 5 days prior to the travel date.
Prohibited Items:
Follows international restrictions (100 ml limit on liquids, no flammables, no weapons).
Baggage Services:
Premium passengers (business and first class) and elites are given priority handling for bags.
If you lose your bag, it is tracked through World Tracer. Comes with a basic cover; an additional cover is optional.
Tips:
Weigh your bags before travel. Travel light, roll clothes, wear heavy items, and use the app for allowances verification.
